The Serene Landscape
View from our hotel room at Kalista resort
The mountain roses got a special place in my heart
Our almost loyal guide...
Walking through the apple orchard, bordered by the fairy tale walls
Tea time!
Only better with books...
Night falls over Burwa village, where we stayed
On the way to Rohtang
We stopped at Marhi village, I was trying to take a profile picture of Samudro
Flying Haz! In our undergrad days, Samudro and I made a paper plane, in the classroom, out of boredom. Samudro named the engine "Flying Haz". Though Samudro is risk averse and would not look at me after I proposed that I want to do paragliding, he wished me this Flying Haz thing before I took off.
For once it hadn't occur to me I could fall down! Thanks God, I would have been doubly dead, once by falling down, then by Samudro
Yo yo skiing!
Time for Bollywood style photoshoot?
Posting more pictures of Jo, to annoy him
Modelling š This one is not that bad, I have more funny poses in my phone
The snowman we made out of chewing gum, date seeds, and of course out of snow!
This could be our Christmas card photo, only if we had a tradition like that, LOL
Most favorite picture from the trip!
To Baralacha La pass
Morning is so beautiful here!
In Atal tunnel, world's largest highway tunnel at 3000 m altitude
Falls are frozen midway!
This is the stone we shared to sit, and the snowy peaks we rented for an hour to gaze at...
Up- vanilla with chocolate chips, down- oreo crumbs!
Hike day at Hampta valley
Looks like pictures, right?
Fav one
It was lunch break. Our guide served us a healthy and full lunch! We were fed happily and gazing at the beauty lazily.
Solang valley, Hadimba temple and Mall road
It was my birthday, dressed up in a very favorite saree of my mother
Another Christmas card like photo
In the Himalayan attire
Maa said we are looking like king and queen. Yoo...
Jo, caught in his usual motion
This was me drawing my dreamy place live!
"Rabbit le lo" aunties made us hold one each and CLICK!
The forest that surrounds the Hadimba temple. I was amazed to see how the tourist places didn't feel commercial, trees were in abundance. Nature was kept untouched.
Mall road was picturesque as well! We dined here, ate some momo.
Live music at cafe 1986. I liked "Dum dara dum dara mast mast dara..." Our good bye Manali night...
