Sonmarg

On the way to Sonmarg. We stopped near this stream of Sindh river for breakfast. Kashmiri dum aloo and chapatti and what a view offered by the roadside dhaba

Up we go, mountains go rocky

At Zojila pass. My handsome Samudro in front of handsome mountains

At zero point, Sonmarg. Our multi-talented cab driver made a perfect scramble of snow and captured this shot.

On the way back to Sonmarg from Zero point, my eyes glued to the view outside

Selfie at fish point, a stop from Zero point

Touched the icy cold stream of Sindh river with our feet

Gulmarg

At sunrise peak point on the way to Gulmarg. Some tourist took this photo of us.

At Nagin valley one.

Buta Pathri, Gulmarg.

Just mesmerized the flower beds, the stream and the quietness

The three Kashmiri girls we met at Nagin valley. They were very friendly and asked us to take a photo of them. Wish I had a polaroid camera, then I could share the photo with them.

This "GULMARG" stand was occupied with tourists most of the time. For one moment all the letters got free and I clicked.

Kokernag

Kokernag botanical garden

This climbing flowers of Anantnag amazed us

6/7 bridges are in the garden

Sinthan Top

On the way to Sinthan top. Flowers and frost, dwelling side by side

Hurray!

"Aye aye madam," Samudro used to reply me in text back in the buet days

Unintentional Marilyn Monroe pose

Sinthan top was exceptional, white snow covers the green

Jo thought these purple flowers might be poisonous, so I trekked there alone. Nothing happened, I am still alive.

With the wall of snow!

On the way back from Sinthan top

A village on the way

Pahalgam

Our first morning at Pahalgam. We started the day with Kashmiri kahwa tea.

View from the entrance of PK Cottage where we stayed the first night. The sound of Lidder river stream accompanied us all night.

Betaab valley, Pahalgam

"Didi, kabootar le lo?"

Didi with baby goatie

School kids were practicing stone skipping at Betaab valley

On the way to Aru valley. The road is adventurous and view is so pleasant

In Aru valley Samudro climbed on a huge rock and captured this soothing view

Evening with kahwa at Bentes Lodge, our second stay at Pahalgam

Good morning! Second morning at Pahalgam.

My most favorite capture from the whole trip!

Trekking to Baisaran valley, Pahalgam

At Baisaran valley, which is also called mini-Switzerland

Wooley friend!

Kashmiri woman charging 400 rupees for a selfie

What a view we enjoyed during trekking. This we took on the way back from Baisaran valley.

Aharbal

Aharball waterfall is an offbeat destination, but we totally loved the mesmerizing view.

Also called the Niagra of Kashmir

This totally looks like a picture published in a magazine with caption "author of the article at..."

The rocks, green at the bottom and red at the top

Ta da Kashmir!
